FYI- At this point in time, my laptop isn't back to me yet. Was originally gonna wait 'til Tuesday- but I felt too excited lol. :shakefist: Scanner killed the colors.

EDIT [11:42 pm PST] Worked the colors a little bit... it seems to help a little bit- ^^; but my scanner is still fail. [End EDIT]

Long story short, I've kept myself busy for the past... 3-4 days. (Aside from work having very little time to do much of anything while there.)

But- having my laptop temporarily stripped from me- I had the urge to try traditional again.

Although there's plenty of mistakes and embarassments within the picture itself, I feel oddly happy with it.

ALSO long story short-

This is a birthday present for myself~ Which is oddly the same day that Sonic the Hedgehog's anniversary is also acknowledged (for the most part).

Aaaanyway- I've always wanted to do a pic with my main fan character Blaze Timberwolf just kinda hangin' out really. There's no REAL elaborate story behind this. No these aren't my favorite characters of the franchise. It just felt right this time.

Plus I just had to draw Knuckles being a dork. :giggle:

But if you MUST have an explanation- here:

Sonic has pineapple.
Blaze has Mango+Peach.
Cream is getting Strawberry.
Knuckles has a fudgicle- and just tagged along for a free treat cuz he's cheap like that. D8<

And Cheese... Blaze is making sure Cream knows that he/she/it doesn't have too much due to a horrible catastrophe from a previous experience.

I'll leave that to your imagination. :D

oh well I think ill try commenting now. I like the way this pic tired pit; hehe looks its the good and old Blaze Timberwolf over there. shes really a nice and cute character. and yeah I can see there is really a history behind of this. I wonder why Sonic's knee is like that. oh well they are having some fun time with their popsicles and ices creams so it doesn't matter. nice jbo on Sonic anyway. I like his face. hehe and I also Like Cheese's face too. Cream is adorable. and I like the way you did Knux look so cool even with a popsicle on his mouth. and for some reason.. I think I know this place.. oh well sorry I did a dynamic reading on your description so if you said something I didn't get. oh and of course the colors are really really nice. markers... aww... hehe well awesome job girl ^^

Wow, been a while since I commented, huh? Anyways, nice pic, despite what the scanner did, I see you put a lot of work into it. And a nice little story. But I see the bandage on Sonic's leg. Did that horrible accident with Cheese involve him getting so hyper on sugar that he literally got biting crazy, and bit Sonic's knee? XD

This picture is wonderful. Its so fun and cute. XD I love the colours, expressions and the interaction between the characters. Sonic looks so goofy with that grin, and Knux is just ballin. XP

It's been a while since I last commented on something of yours, ne? Well, I just adore how this turned out. C: The feel of it is really nice. Both the characters and bg are nicely done overall, but what really drew my attention to the picture were the expressions. They all look so carefree and it gives the picture an uplifting feel.
Oh, and of course Knuckles must look like a dork. :B Ah well, that's the price you pay for being a cheapskate. ;P

I must've been staring at this for ten minutes!

I just love the colouring, and the way you shaded with your pens. There's a lot of detail even in the background. I couldn't believe this was traditional!

The sky is wonderful too, I thought it was watercolour and that it was an intention technique. :XD:
