Sonic Boom Designs - Babylon Rogues

FAN DESIGNS AHOY!

8| Not exactly what I wanted to post for the first image this year. (Though technically it isn't, if you watch my scraps, you would've seen these already!)

I've been slow as of late, but I finally got to sit down and do the lineart and flats for the trio here.

HEAD CANNON ALERT

In the Boom!Universe the Rogues are a gang of bandits that go area to area to establish their superiority.

...At least that's what Jet would tell you. I leaned a bit more with this original concept with the slicked back ...mowhawk thing. Also I like to think he's an eagle hawk. With the power of his bashosen he whips up treacherous winds and twisters, capable of flattening towns. Even without his signature fan, he's a dangerous, dirty fighter. Storm might be able to hold his own, but Wave wouldn't want to be by alone with him on a bad day.

Speaking of Storm, I made him less round and made him Mr. Buff, and gave him some legs. He's a bit more quiet, and more competent than his SEGA-verse self. At first glance, most are intimidated by the big brute, being about half a head taller than Boom!Knuckles and with good reason. While not super limber, he's quick with his hands.

As for Wave, she's as sassy as ever, though a bit more of a grease monkey. If you have a vehicle or piece of gear that she happens to catch her eye on, don't be surprised if it ends up missing a few parts or make a full disappearing act. She likes to do experiments with alternate energy sources, specifically to do with energy crystals (considering how many of them exist so far in this universe). From her findings so far she's only been able to make a pair of baton-like tazers that can focus the energy to be more of an effective weapon like a laserbeam sword or a whip.

Considering by now they've established hoverboard technology, I'd guess to say they have gear in this world too. 8|; But I just wanted to finish this and move on... sorry.

All of them have tats in the mark from the first Sonic Riders games. Jet's is on his back though, hence why you don't see it here. 8|;
